Financial Reporting Standard 102 (FRS102) has been updated following on from the second periodic review, the Periodic Review 2024, which was completed in March 2024 and this has a principal effective date of 1 January 2026. Some of the changes in the update include recognising all leases on the balance sheet (Section 20), a new revenue recognition model (Section 23), and guidelines for donated resources and legacies.
