We are a progressive company of chartered accountants, based in Dublin city centre.
Our accounting practice acts on behalf of clients operate across all sectors of the Irish and International economy.

Company Development

The company history begins in the early 1980s when Joe Keveny established Keveny Gilhawley & Co., a partnership which he continued with until 2006 when Joe Keveny and Philip Monahan formed a successor partnership which was called Keveny Monahan & Co. 

From 2006 onwards, the accountancy practice grew with the addition of new clients and additional services.  In 2013 John Webb & Co. Chartered Accountants joined the firm and in 2018 Michael O’Sullivan of Conlon O’Sullivan Tax Advisers and Accountants joined the firm.  Keveny Monahan & Co. was incorporated into Keveny Monahan Limited in 2017.

In July 2026 Keveny Monahan Limited was pleased to confirm that KomSec Limited has joined Keveny Monahan. This development reflects a long-established professional relationship between Philip Monahan and Kathryn Maybury, who have worked together for more than twenty years in serving the needs of Irish businesses, SME’s, charities and owner-managed enterprises.

The Company Today

Philip Monahan and Barry Griffin manage Keveny Monahan Limited. Continuing the tradition of growing a knowledge-based company with expertise in accountancy, audit and tax helps Keveny Monahan Limited to expand both in the Irish and international markets, bringing innovation and diversity to the company.

As part of our growth plan, in 2024 Hatton & Company Accountants Limited, a well-established and reputable firm from Castleknock in Dublin, led by its founder Tony Hatton, joined our firm.  In 2025 Pauline O’Reilly & Co. a well-established and reputable firm from Greystones, County Wicklow joined our firm.

 

Both Hatton & Company and Pauline O’Reilly & Co. are firms that were led by their founders with a long-standing reputation for excellent client service.  This enhances our ability to offer excellent services to our clients, expands our professional expertise and helps our reputation as a trusted provider of audit, accounting and taxation services.

Philip Monahan

Philip Monahan

Philip Monahan has worked in various roles in industry, financial services and practice since 1995.  Philip has been leading Keveny Monahan since 2007 and has been involved in growing the accountancy practice over that time.  He has worked with the Keveny Monahan team to grow the client base, range of professional services offered to clients and the professional team over this period.

Philip Monahan is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.

Barry Griffin has worked in accounting and management roles in industry, financial services and practice since 1999.  Barry has been in senior leadership positions in Keveny Monahan since 2013 and has been involved in growing the accountancy practice over that time.  Barry has experience leading the audit teams for our SME client base, leading tax compliance projects and is involved with our firm’s client development work.

Barry Griffin is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a director of Keveny Monahan Limited.

Lorraine Boyle

Lorraine Boyle has worked in roles in both industry and practice since 2005.  Lorraine is a senior member of the team in Keveny Monahan since 2017 and has been working closely with our SME clients, charity clients, individuals, insurance brokers, estate agents, solicitors and sole traders.  Lorraine has a broad range of experience in audit accountancy and tax services, with particular emphasis on tax compliance and planning. 

Lorraine Boyle is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of the Irish Tax Institute.

 

Paige Crabtree

Paige Crabtree

Paige Crabtree has worked in practice since 2015.  Paige is a senior member of the audit team in Keveny Monahan and in addition to her audit expertise, has been working closely with our SME clients, charity clients, individuals, and sole traders on a range of audit, accountancy and tax assignments. 

Paige works with the audit and quality management development plan for Keveny Monahan also with the Keveny Monahan trainee programme.

Paige Crabtree is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and is an audit manager in Keveny Monahan Limited.

Mikhail Vinnikau

Manager

Mikhail Vinnikau has worked in industry, financial services, and practice since 1995.  Mikhail has worked in senior accounting positions in Keveny Monahan and has been working closely with our SME clients, charity clients, individuals, sole traders and audit exempt clients. 

Mikhail has experience leading the teams on assignments for our client base; leading tax, accounting and audit compliance projects and is involved with leading the Keveny Monahan trainee programme, our client development work and plans for future growth. 

Mikhail Vinnikau is a Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a manager in Keveny Monahan Limited.

Paula Freitas

Practice Administration & Project Management

Paula Freitas has worked in Keveny Monahan since 2021 and supports the Keveny Monahan team and our clients through oversight of the firm’s internal governance and administrative procedures.

Paula has an MBA in International Business and an M.Sc. in Management.

Vivek Kurup

Senior Accountant

Vivek is a dual-qualified chartered accountant with international experience across audit and financial management.

He has led audit engagements for a wide range of clients and has strong expertise in financial reporting (IFRS and FRS 102), internal controls, and management reporting. His background also includes senior industry roles, giving him a practical and commercially focused approach to client work.

Vivek works closely with clients to support compliance, improve financial processes and deliver clear, practical advice.

Eaint Zarli Phyoe

Accountant

Eaint is a qualified ACCA accountant and is currently completing her FAE with Chartered Accountants Ireland.

She has gained experience across audit, accounts preparation and tax compliance, having worked in practice in Dublin. Her work includes preparing financial statements, managing income tax, VAT and corporation tax returns, and supporting audit assignments.

Eaint has worked with clients across a range of industries and is experienced in meeting compliance deadlines and managing multiple client requirements. She is also familiar with a range of accounting systems, including Bright, Xero.

She brings a strong work ethic and attention to detail to her role, and is focused on continuing to develop her technical expertise while delivering high-quality service to clients.

Geize Silva

Trainee Accountant

Geize is a trainee accountant currently progressing her ACCA qualification.

She has practical experience in bookkeeping and accounting, including VAT and PAYE filings, bank reconciliations, payroll and financial reporting. Geize has worked in both industry and service-based environments, where she was responsible for day-to-day finance operations, credit control and supporting month-end processes.

She holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from Dublin Business School and brings strong analytical skills and attention to detail to her role.

Geize is developing her experience across accounts preparation, audit and tax, and is committed to delivering accurate work and supporting clients in meeting their compliance obligations and is committed to delivering accurate work and a high standard of service to clients.

John Conlon

Consultant
John Conlon

John has been in general tax practice for 10 years, providing tax advice across all the tax heads, to both commercial and private clients.  He is a branch member for Wicklow, representing the Institute of Tax at high level meetings with Revenue for the East South East region.  John has recently completed a VAT certificate with the Institute of Tax. 

John lectures at Carlow Institute of Technology and has also tutored students for the I.T.I. tax exams, he also speaks fluent French and German.
